TalkADayPrivacy policy
TalkADay is a language-learning app. We built it to need as little of your information as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
We do not collect personal information through the app. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking tools inside the app.
What stays on your phone
Your lesson progress, your speech-speed setting and your chosen voice are saved on your own device. We cannot see them. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it. The app can create a transfer code so you can move your progress to another device yourself.
Purchases
Unlocking a language or the full bundle is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). They process your payment and keep your payment details. We do not receive your card or payment information. We may receive confirmation that a purchase was made so the app can unlock your content, and that check is handled by the store.
Speech and voices
The app speaks phrases using the text-to-speech voices built into your phone. We do not record your voice and the app does not use your microphone.
This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most websites, the hosting service may record basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We do not use this website to track you or to build profiles.
When you email us
If you write to support@talkaday.com, we receive your email address and whatever you tell us. We use it only to reply and to improve the app, and we do not sell or share it.
Children
TalkADay is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, for example by adding accounts or analytics, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
